Spinned to death!!!

18 October 2008, 17:55
2nd Floor, Dorm 5, IIM-A

After the mid day nap, got up just to solve the trade-mogul puzzle ,else i would have slept for another hour. Puzzle for Day 5 is due in 5 minutes. To gain senses i need to wash my face at least. Two-three steps to the right of my room on the way to rest rooms i saw it,i couldn't believe my eyes. Am i still sleeping? Nopes..
It was true, there she lies upside down just to the left of rest room entrance door.
It was today afternoon that we had fight for her, me and my neighbour David and to my frustration, he won and i had to wait for 133 minutes as signaled by her.
And now..
I called out for help. . Guess David heard...

Two weeks back...
Inmates of Dorm-5 saw her for the first time. We had only seen the old grandma in first floor till date as far as washing and all was concerned. Now here she is and to the envy of guys in the first floor she will be serving the second floor. The brand new IFB Senorita DX fully automatic washing machine. Well packed and quality tested. Not yet installed because of some water inlet issues.

Today morning again when i got up from sleep, and at the same place two technicians were installing the new machine and even before that David had a bucket full of his stinky clothes ready. Its so unfair to this awesome machine(it was looking amazing), putting these stuffs upfront.
But the user manual had clearly mentioned about a test run to be performed before the first usage. One litre of water to be poured in chamber two then half a spoon of detergent and put the machine in 95degree cotton mode. Its for cleaning the machine after factory test run and so. I poured in water and the machine was started for the first time.It will take 133minutes.So i still stand a chance, or to be exact my clothes still stand a chance to get the first opportunity to be washed in the brand new one. All the shirts and shorts are fed up with the grand ma whirlpool i guess.

Then the off day just went by with assignments, chats and scraps..and sleeping.. And now i am here watching her off the ground. It was placed on the lifted floor part of keeping the washing machine itself. But i guess since the support was not good it lost its ground while spinning or was it a suicide kind of action, Guess those clothes of David made the warranty void!!! We slowly lifted it up. All the electrical connections and water inlet tube were broken. The same chamber in which i poured the first drop of water was twisted. The front door was unlock so David took his clothes out which were dried to perfection. It had done its first duty well, before the accident.

The concerned people will come and check it soon, sincerely hope nothing happened to it... Feeling a kind of pain, don't know why...

Anyways grandma whirlpool will wash my clothes today!!!
